Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information cobramypolicy.com collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can do about it.

Last updated 1 August 2026.

1. Who We Are

This website is owned and operated by Prodest Insurance Group, LLC, a licensed insurance agency at 7000 West Palmetto Park Rd, Suite 300, Boca Raton, Florida 33433. We are the party responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

2. What We Collect

Information you give us. We only collect what you type into a form. We do not ask for a Social Security number, date of birth, medical history, or financial details anywhere on this website.
FormWhat it asks for
Get My OptionsYour name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, state, how many people need coverage, an optional message, and your consent to be contacted
Privacy RequestYour name, phone number, email address, the type of request you are making, and an optional message
Information collected automatically. When you submit a form we also record the date and time, your IP address, the page you submitted from, and your browser type. For the quote form we additionally record the exact consent wording shown to you at the time. We keep these details so that we can show when and how consent was given, which is required of us under telemarketing rules.
Our web host and network provider keep standard server logs, as almost all websites do.

3. What We Do Not Do

We do not sell your personal information. We are a licensed insurance agency and we write policies ourselves. We are not a lead generator and we do not sell or rent your details to other agencies, lead buyers, or marketing companies.
We do not track you across the internet. We use Google Analytics to see which pages people find useful and how the site performs. It reports on visits in aggregate. We do not use advertising pixels, we do not run remarketing, and we do not sell or share your browsing behaviour with advertisers. Google Analytics is not used to build a marketing profile of you or to follow you across other websites.

4. Why We Collect It

• To contact you about health coverage options, when you have asked us to.
• To work out which plans are available to you, which depends on your location and household.
• To prepare and submit an application to an insurance carrier, if you choose to enroll.
• To respond to a privacy or do-not-call request.
• To keep a record of consent, as required under telemarketing rules.
• To meet our obligations as a licensed insurance agency, including record-keeping required by state insurance regulators.

5. Who We Share It With

Insurance carriers. If you decide to apply for a plan, we pass the information needed to process that application to the insurance company issuing it. That carrier then handles your information under its own privacy policy. We only do this once you have chosen to proceed.
Service providers. We use ordinary business services to run this website and our email, such as our web host and email provider. They process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
When the law requires it. We may disclose information where we are legally obliged to, such as in response to a lawful request from a regulator or court, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

6. Cookies

This website uses cookies set by WordPress and by the page builder we use, which are needed for the site to work.

We also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits, tell returning visitors from new ones, and show which pages are read. These do not identify you by name. Google processes this data on our behalf, and its own privacy terms apply to that processing.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may stop parts of the site from working properly.

7. Website Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to understand how this website is used. It tells us things like which pages are read most, how people arrive at the site, and whether pages load properly. We use that to decide what to write and what to fix.
What it collects. Pages viewed, how long you spend on them, the approximate region you are in, the type of device and browser you use, and the website or search that brought you here. Google Analytics assigns a randomly generated identifier to your browser so that repeat visits can be counted as one person rather than several.
What it does not do. It does not receive your name, email address, or phone number. Information you type into a form on this site is not passed to Google Analytics. We do not use it for advertising, remarketing, or audience targeting, and we do not link analytics data to the information you give us on a form.

How to opt out

Google publishes a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics collecting data about your visits to any website. You can install it from tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
You can also block or delete analytics cookies through your browser settings, or use your browser’s private browsing mode. Blocking them does not affect your ability to use this site or to contact us.
Google’s handling of the data it processes is governed by its own terms. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

8. How Long We Keep It

Federal rules set a minimum period for keeping certain records, not a maximum. Under the Federal Trade Commission’s Telemarketing Sales Rule, records of express informed consent must be kept for five years. Separately, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act carries a four-year limitation period measured from the date of a call rather than from when we first received your details, and Florida law applies its own four-year period to statutory claims.
Taking those together, we keep consent records for a minimum of five years from the last contact, and form submissions for as long as we need them to serve you. State insurance regulators also impose their own record-keeping requirements on licensed agencies, which we follow.

If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so except where we are legally required to retain it. Where that applies we will tell you what we are keeping and why. A request to stop contacting you is honoured in full regardless, and the record of that request is itself kept so that we can prove we acted on it.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to delete your information, or to stop contacting you. You do not need to give a reason.
• Use our Privacy Request form.
• Call (888) 918-4516 or email [email protected].
• Tell any agent during a call. A request made on the phone counts.
Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights over your personal information. We apply the choices above to everyone regardless of state.
Our Do Not Call Policy explains how to stop calls specifically, including how the national registry works.

10. Security

This website is served over an encrypted connection, and access to submitted information is limited to people at our agency who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.

This website provides educational information about health insurance and is a solicitation for insurance. It is a non-government website operated by Prodest Insurance Group, a health insurance agency that presents health plans, which may include Affordable Care Act (ACA) plans, private health insurance, short-term medical insurance, or supplemental insurance based on the consumer's selection. Qualified ACA plans must meet or exceed the essential benefit requirements of the Affordable Care Act; non-ACA plans are not required to provide all of the essential benefit requirements contained in the Affordable Care Act. Pre-existing condition provisions, benefit availability, limitations and exclusions vary by plan type and state. You should review all plan details and product brochures before purchase. To qualify for ACA health insurance coverage outside of the open enrollment period, you must meet special enrollment requirements.

*Eligibility for Affordable Care Act (ACA) Advance Premium Tax Credit (APTC) and cost-sharing reductions is based on annual federal income thresholds, household size, and plan availability within the applicable service area. Premium rates, plan availability, and subsidy amounts vary by state and marketplace. Final eligibility and premium obligations are determined by the Health Insurance Marketplace under Internal Revenue Code Section 36B and applicable federal regulations.
